Jonathan Wilson

I’m a systems engineer at heart, with roots in construction and over a decade of experience building software across complex domains including DoD satellite systems, cybersecurity analytics, and large-scale data platforms. I hold a degree in Applied Statistics and Computer Science from Brigham Young University and currently focus on designing scalable data architectures and pipelines for modeling, simulation, and real-time analysis of large, interconnected systems. My interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, cyber-physical systems, and digital twins, with a long-term goal of building intelligent, self-operating infrastructure. I am pursuing a master’s in Data Analytics Engineering at George Mason University.

I have my bachelor’s in Industrial and Systems Engineering, with a minor in statistics, from Virginia Tech and I am currently pursuing a master’s in Operations Research at George Mason University. I started out doing logistics engineering for the United States Postal Service and then transitioned into my current role as a systems engineer for the DoD, doing MBSE for both the system of systems and mission level.

I am a Human Resources professional in the federal sector currently pursuing a master’s in Management and Responsible AI at George Mason University. My work focuses on bridging the gap between traditional HR operations and predictive analytics. In this repository, I apply machine learning models to analyze complex datasets like flight delays and organizational risk.
